Studying in Europe: It's closer than you think!

One common misconception about studying in Europe is that it’s located “on the other side of the world.” In reality, Europe is often closer in practical terms than you might realize.

For example, flying from New York to London takes about the same amount of time as a flight from New York to Los Angeles. Yet, when we think about a cross-country trip within the U.S., it doesn’t feel nearly as intimidating as flying overseas. 

Consider this, the flight time from some U.S. cities to Europe can even be shorter than traveling coast-to-coast within the U.S.! For example, if you are in Boston, and hop on a flight to Dublin, you will arrive in less time than it would take you to fly from Boston to the West Coast of the US. 

So, if you’re considering studying in Europe, don’t let distance or fear of the unknown hold you back! Europe is more accessible than ever, and you might find that the journey isn’t as long or daunting as it seems. With an open mind, Europe can quickly feel like a second home!
