Graduation Cap and Diploma

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 on reaching this incredible milestone! Completing high school is no small feat, and you should be proud of all the hard work, dedication, and growth that brought you to this point. As you celebrate this achievement, you're also preparing for an exciting new chapter—with many of you starting at universities in Europe this fall.

Heading to university abroad is a bold and rewarding decision, one that offers a rich academic experience and a chance to grow personally and culturally. As you look ahead, it’s important to enjoy the moment, but also to use this time wisely to ensure a smooth transition.

Make sure your passport is up to date and, if a visa is required for your destination, start the application process as early as possible to avoid any last-minute complications. It’s also important to review your health insurance coverage. In some cases, your current plan may not transfer internationally, and you may need to enroll in the healthcare system of the country where you’ll be studying.

To make daily life easier once you arrive, consider setting up a few basics ahead of time. Look into getting a SIM card with a local phone number so you can stay connected, and explore opening a local bank account to manage finances more easily. Finalize your housing plans if you haven’t already, and begin making a list of what you’ll need to bring with you—or purchase once you arrive. A little organization now can save a lot of stress later!

Of course, it’s also important to take some time to relax this summer. You’ve worked hard to get here, and you deserve to enjoy the break and celebrate all you’ve accomplished. But in between the downtime, use these next few months to prepare, plan, and make sure everything is in order before you embark on this exciting new journey.

The transition to university—especially in a new country—is a big step, but with the right preparation, it can also be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. We’re so proud of all that you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see what lies ahead for you.

Congratulations again, Class of 2025—your adventure is just beginning!
